Represent me

Before the half term we spent time looking at art in Brazil. The children then created their own statues to represent something about them.

Gymnastics

This week the children have been creating balances to show action and objects around the home

Grid multiplication

This week the children have been learning how to use grid multiplication.

Child Teach

year 4 became the teacher as they were sharing their mystery problems. 

Problem solving

Year 4 challenged themselves creating 4 digit place value mystery problems.

Hockey

Year 4  put their hockey and team skills into action to play mini hockey games.

SEAL

The children created role plays to show how they could get the attention of an adult and discuss issues about bullying and other safety issues. 

Multifaceted

Children experimented in science to find materials that conduct electricity as well as discussing emergency services and creating images that represent them. 

Dragon reports

Yr 4 experimented being reporters and dragon experts to help them create 'how to train your dragon' leaflets.

15th September

The children used sticky notes to create connectives and group them and create sentences on mini w/boards. We also had a class discussion on the most appropriate connectives for non chronological reports.
