Year 4 joined up handwriting

We are now learning how to write using joined-up handwriting. We have very recently started to learn to write this way because of the changes that have been made to the National Curriculum. We wanted you all to see the progress we are making already with our handwriting.

#hastags in Guided Reading

The Christian festival of Lent

To help us learn about Lent, we learned about What the Bible teaches Christians about Jesus in the desert. We learned that Christians believe he avoided temptation and during Lent, Christians show their respect for this by giving something up for 40 days and 40 nights.

We made pancakes. Even Pete, our Caretaker, came to have a go at making the pancakes! We also made presentations about Lent which we shared with the class.
