Gold book (3/11/16)

Julia is in the gold book this week for her fantastic writing of a balanced arguement, she gave points for and against and included an introduction, conclusion and a rhetorical question, a fantastic piece, well done!

Holly is in the gold book this week for her fantastic essay about good v's evil in the book The Lost Happy Endings, she included an introduction, PEE paragraphs and a conclusion, it was also beautifully presented, well done!

Gold book (6/10/16)

Zoe is in the gold book this week for her science learning, during our lesson she took part in an experiment, she made sensible predictions, carried it out safely, drew conclusions and made a final true statement educated from her findings, well done Zoe, a budding scientist!



Gold book (29/9/16)

Nieve was in the gold book this week for her fantastic story prediction, she used some fantastic descriptive language and included metaphors and similes, well done it was a pleasure to read.

Gold book (27/6/16)

Jacob H
Jacob is in the gold book this week for his enthusiasm, he has shown a very keen interest in our World War II unit, he is very knowledgeable, especially in regards to war planes.

Rowan
Rowan is also in the gold book for the interest he has shown during our World War II topic, he even brought in to share with the class his model planes that he has made and painted, very impressive!

Kacey is in the gold book this week for her fantastic learning logs, she has completed every single one, on time and to an exceptioanlly high standard showing fantastic independent learning, well done!

Bobby 
Bobby is in the gold book this week for persevering with his hand writing and presentation, this week he has produced a fantastically neat piece of text, well done! You've now set the example of what you are capable of!

Shannon is in the gold book for being resourceful, she was unsure of a spelling and used resources around her to find out the correct spelling.

Rose is in the gold book this week for her independent learning, she has brought in a fantastic learning log which shows learning that she has done at home, well done!

Alex is in the gold book this week for cooperation, he works well as part of a group, he joins in and contributes and he is willing to help others.

Kayden is in the gold book this week for his perserverance, he perservered and didn't give up during our maths data handling sessions, he carried on and completed the task.

Rowan
Rowan is in the gold book this week for cooperation, I regularly see him helping others on the carpet, I often overhear him saying things like "Do you need any help? Do you understand?" Which is really considerate and helpful, thank you.

Mathew 
Mathew is in the gold book for cooperation, during guided reading he was observed offering help and assistance to his fellow group mates, this is lovely to see, well done!

Mia 

Mia is in the gold book for being reflective during maths, she has looked at her answers and realised where she has made an error and corrected them.


Tiegan 

Tiegan is in the gold book for being resilient, she found 1 session of maths this week tricky but she didn't give up and achieved what was being asked of her, well done.

Myles 
Myles is in the gold book this week for being reflective, he self assessed his big write and effectively evaluated his writing, correctly recognising his strengths and next steps.

Ellen 
Ellen is in the gold book this week for being resourceful, she used her personal dictionary to make corrections to her spellings and checked them again by using spell check on the computers!

Ben 
Ben showed both perserverance and resiliance during our perimeter maths lesson this week, he continued trying even when he found it tricky and was very pleased at the end of the session by what he had achieved.

Rose D
Rose is in the gold book this week for being a resource, she volunteered her knowledge to a fellow class mate who was struggling, well done!

Kacey is in the gold book this week for her persistence during maths, those tricky word problems WERE going to be answered correctly, well done for persisting!

Mathew
Mathew is in the gold book this week for the resilience he has shown during literacy, when planning his big write he carried on going to get all of his fantastic ideas down. Well done!

Shannon is in the gold book for working independently, she has been trying really hard to do her best learning and she has achieved this in her literacy and history this week.
