Mathew
Mathew is in the gold book this week as his reading has improved so much over the summer, Mrs Quinn and Mrs Jordan were mightily impressed, well done.

Literacy: a new topic!
This morning saw the beginning of a new unit of Literacy work. We began by looking at historical stories.
Maths: comparing and finding equivalent fractions
Year 4 find fractions of shapes this morning. They compared the fractions to each other and decided upon a size order. They also found equivalents too!

How closely can you estimate capacity of liquids? Can you measure using lots of different scales? Year 4 can!
