Jacob is in the gold book for being resourceful, when he is unsure of a spelling he will independently go and use a dictionary to help himself.

Thomas is in the gold book this week because he is showing more and more independence with his learning, he is focusing on his own activities and achieving the set targets.

Dylan is in the gold book this week because he has been resourceful, during our history topic he was unsure of a pharaohs name and spelling and he used our resource books to find it out, excellent use of available resources, well done!

Science; Skeletons and the digestive system

This half term we have been looking at skeletons and the digestive system, we named and labelled bones on the skeleton and we looked at where our food goes when we eat, through our digestive system.

Iron Man

As you may well know Year 4 are studying the novel Iron Man by Ted Hughes, so far we have read the first 2 chapters and are really enjoying the text here is our classroom display;

Freya 

Freya is in the gold book this week for co-operation, as she has been seen helping her class mates independently and giving them advice on how to tackle a problem from a different perspective, this is lovely to see!

Freddie 

Freddie is in the gold book this week for his perseverance, he has found time tricky but he has persevered and is now solving time word problems confidently, well done!
